North Korea appears to have constructed a new uranium-enrichment facility at its Yongbyon nuclear complex, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The development has triggered renewed international concern over Pyongyang’s expanding nuclear programme.

The IAEA says satellite imagery indicates that the new facility could accommodate up to 28 centrifuge cascades. The building reportedly has two floors where centrifuge equipment could be installed.
