Romelu Lukaku has provided Chelsea with a timely boost as he returned to training.
Now he is expected to return to action shortly after continuing his recovery at Chelsea’s
– and could even play against Leicester on Saturday.
And if not fit for the Foxes, he could be back in action for next week’s Champions League clash with Juventus, or the weekend crush against Manchester United.
Lukaku, 28, has regularly been providing his social media followers with updates regarding his progress on the road to recovery.
The Blues star revealed earlier that he was in training as his team mate then posted two snaps of himself in the session along with a battery emoji on his social media.
The £97.5million striker has been out of action since he hurt his ankle last month against Malmo in the Champions League.
It also meant he missed Belgium’s 3-1 World Cup qualifying win over Estonia .
Lukaku joined Chelsea in the summer, ending his successful stay in Inter Millian.
